Our lab tests include the JASO detergency
test (JASO M336) by a VG20E engine, JASO
valve train wear test (JASO M328) by a KA24E engine and other tests.
Furthermore, we carry out fuel-cleanliness testing to evaluate gasoline
with regard to the valves and combustion chambers of our subject engines.
A special instrument is installed during the VG20E test, enabling precise
control of water temperature in the rocker cover. Additionally, we use
a special apparatus for the KA24E test in order to maintain constant
temperature and humidity of the intake air.
The use of a flex dynamometer
in fuel-cleanliness testing allows us to test driving operations with
accurately under realistic conditions.
