The
engine bench tests are designed to evaluate the effects of automotive
engine oils and fuel oils. In this process we operate a single-unit engine
in
the laboratory environment, thus eliminating any unstable factors and
ensuring the greatest possible precision. Currently we conduct firing
tests, motoring tests and friction tests using diesel engines, gasoline
engines and two-cycle engines. Operation and measurement processes are
automated through the use of a program-control unit in which digital
signals provide extremely fine control and measurement. Furthermore,
for bench testing, dynamometers with output ranging from 7.5 kW to 300
kW are installed in the laboratory.
