conditions

Plug gasket temperature is forcibly
raised at 4000 rpm, under full load operating conditions,
by shutting off cooling air.
Evaluating method : The decrease
in output shaft torque whilst the plug gasket temperature
is raised from 200 to 300oC is measured and relatively
compared
Test order : The test is performed in the following
order ; the standard reference oil, a candidate oil,
and the standard reference oil - on the same day in
order
to prevent errors from environmental factors, such
as, atmospheric change etc.. |
