Test Method Summary
The JASO M342:1992 specification test evaluates
the exhaust smoke formation performance of lubricating oil used in
2-stroke gasoline engines, such as motorcycle engines, utility engines
and outboard engines.

conditions
|
Operation at 50Hz-0W for 20 minutes,
followed by rapid loading up to 670W and then evaluated
exhaust smoke formation.
Test order : The test is performed in the following
order the standard reference oil, a candidate oil,
and the standard reference oil - on the same day in
order to prevent errors from environmental factors,
such as, atmosphere etc.. |
