SAE No.2 clutch friction apparatus

The exam evaluates the friction characteristics between a clutch (friction material) and lubricating oil based on the JASO method for automatic transmission fluids (JASO M348:2002). Dynamic friction test and static friction one can be combined and uninhabited operation by the program is possible.

LVFA (Low velocity friction apparatus)

An exam evaluates the durability of the "stick-slip" control in a single clutch based on the anti-shudder performance of automatic transmission fluids (JASO M349:2001).

(Shudder: self-excited vibration generated in a friction clutch and a friction brake).
